ABOUT
Berenson Fine Art deals in modern and contemporary painting, sculpture and works on paper, including original prints and photography.
Berenson Fine Art was founded in Toronto, Canada, in 2011 by Emilia Ianeva. The holder of two Master’s Degrees, one in Art History, Ianeva has worked with both European and North American contemporary artists. She has curated public and private art collections in Canada, USA, Switzerland and the Middle East and she brings over thirty years of experience in government and cultural institutions. Emilia Ianeva is the author of three published books of philosophy in Europe.
As the Associate Director of the Pasquale Iannetti Gallery on Sutter Street in San Francisco from 2002 to 2005, Ianeva built a reputation for bringing modern masters within public reach. Over the years, she has assisted in curating special exhibitions of work by 20th-century masters including Francis Bacon, Lautrec and his Contemporaries, Pissarro and Francisco Zuniga. Now, her focus remains with the eclectic group of contemporary artists at Berenson Fine Art where the quality of their work alone is her connection to the gallery’s roster without other defining agenda.
Berenson Fine Art presents, throughout the year, one-person and group exhibitions as well as thematic shows for selected gallery artists.
The gallery offers a range of appraisal services and provides assistance to clients who would like to locate specific works of art.
Berenson Fine Art consults with clients in determining the best way to start, expand, or sell their collections. We accept consignments of single works, as well as estate collections. Expert restoration services are available for works on paper and oil paintings.
We also offer museum quality framing with an extensive array of conservation materials.
